Washief Losper is the visionary Director of Tjommies Sporting Club, a grassroots movement based in Cape Town that uses cultural music and the arts to empower youth from under-resourced communities like Hanover Park.

With a deep passion for youth development and creative expression, Washief has dedicated his life to creating safe, inspiring spaces where young people can discover their talent, build confidence, and pursue meaningful futures.

Under his leadership, Tjommies have become a beacon of hope, earning prestigious recognition as Cape Town Culture Shock Champions and Keep the Dream Champions as a Cape Malay Choir, for their three consecutive years.

Washief’s work goes beyond performance—he is building a legacy of upliftment, transformation, and purpose through culture, rhythm, and community.
